Translation:
3. And by the Power1 that created the male and the female!

1. The deep wisdom inherent
in, and the necessity behind, the creation of the male and the female do not
but point to that Power being superhuman, absolute and extremely intelligent.
The atheistic point of view that this happens without any intelligent power
consciously designing it is just nonsense! That view is nothing but mortal
man’s sheer conjecture, aided and abetted by the Satan, in search of something
to negate the overwhelming evidence in the Universe in favour of a
Super-intelligent Being consciously creating everything out of nothing.

Dear agha I beg to differ here esp with respect to Darwin. please read in my book about Darwin. This poor man has been grossly misunderstood mainly because of what we heard. Allah forbids us from spreading anything without verifying the truth (49:6). Many of us have not even read his book on origin of species to know anything what he actually said or believed. After my research I found what he actually said is in complete alignment with the Quran. Do not judge him without giving him a fair chance lest you do wrong.
ReplyDeleteTo tell you the truth, I had expected these comments from you! I am more than half-way through your book, and I had known your views even before. Since my college days I have been reading a lot about Darwin and his theory of evolution; and my views are based on that. But since I have not read his book of origin of species in its entirety - although I have read excerpts - and since I respect your views greatly, I have edited the post deleting mention of Darwin's name. I intend reading Darwin's book, but I have other priorities - miles to go - before I sleep.

I do know origin of species is a very thick book that I even had to sometimes skip pages, so yes take your time and do read also his ' the descent of man'. Perhaps I can learn something from you that I missed. What struck me was that I found myself unable to deny the facts he revealed: they were not conjectures but factual, rational logical made complete sense to me. Yet I found myself struggling with what we have always studied about the creation of Adam and Eve. I needed conviction. I realized that if God is there and I believe God to be the creator then science must prove Its existence otherwise it is wrong or if science is right then our interpretation of the Devine Discourse is wrong. That is what lead me to research and write what I wrote in my book. However, I can always be wrong too. So many places Quran exhorts us to ponder, use our brain intelligence in order to appreciate the existence of God. Little do we use unless we remove what we are born to believe.
DeleteFrom my point of view "Development" is a proof of God's Design. Because a random variable cannot has a trend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. Darwin actually talks about development. Our understanding of his random variation is wrong. One has to read his thoughts to know what he meant and why. There is nothing random in it though, what he wrote.He also did not deny the existance of a creator. We have taken the story of Adam too far in only and only one way of interpreting it that is what we heard and read since childhood. to err is human, What if we are completely out of chart? And in the end we find God saying " I never said what you believed"
