20. IAAlamoo annama alhayatu alddunya laAAibun walahwun wazeenatun watafakhurun
baynakum watakathurun fee al-amwali waal-awladi
kamathali ghaythin aAAjaba alkuffara nabatuhu thumma yaheeju
fatarahu musfarran thumma yakoonu hutaman wafee al-akhirati
AAathabun shadeedun wamaghfiratun mina Allahi waridwanun
wama alhayatu
alddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori
Translation:
20. Beware! The life of this world is only a game and a
pastime, a show, and mutual boasting and out-rivaling each other in riches and
children. It is like the growth of vegetation after the rain, which makes the
skeptic wonder, but which then withers away, turns yellow and becomes worthless
stubble. And in the Hereafter, severe
punishment, forgiveness from Allah and His Pleasure! And the life of this world
is nothing but means of deception.

I have read the quoted Qur'anic Expression - a Guidance for Beni Adam and 'Fard' (Individual human being) - a nano-speck of the great human spectrum in ALL times but then, there are many other Qur'anic Expressions shedding different light and explaining other aspects for other times......, if which, you know better than I.
Qur'an, a universal Guidance and for all times, had, perforce, to address the people in the Times of Mohammad, Rasul Allah - the immediate & initial Addressee and ever-after, all Mankind to follow and had to remain 'Meaningful and purposeful' in the light of Their Times.
Thus, life Here-in, is NOT a 'deception' but a gift - we know not or know it to a level of our respective 'perception'. What we, individually, make of it, is what we will finally HAVE, in the Hereafter.
Essentially, we are 'nano-specks' - cells of the spectrum of Beni Adam, mere bricks of its Designed Structure, assigned to unravel HIS Miracle of Creation; virtually restoring purpose as well as 'meanings' to this phenomenon.
We are but a mere Expression of this Creative Miracle of 'Muheet e Be-Karan' yet a Reality - NOT a Deception, bestowed irreversible sublimity, mastery of the Universe and all forms of life here-in.....
Agha Bhai, lets learn to grasp the Qur'anic Wisdom and Guidance, "Out of Context" in its universality....!

ReplyDeleteJust for example, traditionally 'Rab Il Aalmeen' has always been translated as "Jahanon ka Rab" as if there were many 'Aalams' (Universes and not just one "Kaeynaat"). Ahmed Faraz, one of our great Poets taught me to a new perception when he said,
"Yeh Aalam shouq ka dekha na'n jaye,
'TOO' buut hae ya Khuda! dekha na'n jaye".
Here-in, Faraz has given a fresh perception to the word Aalam i.e., state or 'Kafeeyat' or 'Ability' of which 'Aalmeen' is plural.
This perception of "Aalam or Aalmeen" transcribed in Surah Fatihah totally changes our perception of the Surah where-in Allah (swt) describes Himself as the Rab of 'Kafeeyat' or 'Aheliyat' and thereby makes you wonder "what Kafeeyat or Aheliyat?" And, our wondering 'Eye' reaches "Asma ul Hasna" which are traditionally described as HIS Names! And, come to realize the fallacy of such 14 centuries old (Mullah imposed) description. These are essentially Positive and Negative "Kafeeyat or Aheliyyatein" Allah (swt) has bestowed to Beni Adam thus ENABLING him to sublime 'Mastery' of "ALL THAT IS IN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH".....
Similarly, "Malik e Yom Iddin" has also been wrongly translated as the "Day of Judgment" whereas YOM means a 'day' or "a Span of Time", Malik - the Proprietor or the Owner and Deen - Way of Life (Islam). Who’s 'Way of Life'? Obviously: Beni Adam's. The Process of Evolution that started with Hazrat Adam - the first perceptive Human and ended with Mohammad (Rasul Allah, completing the Philosophy of Life that Qur'an embodies.
Thus, the perception of first Ayah gets totally changed; it is a vision of HIMSELF for easing our perception of HIM i.e., Allah says, “I am the Rab - Creator of ALL 'Abilities' - Asma Ul Hasna that I Created and Bestowed on you - the Beni Adam, thus Enabling you to master ALL THAT IS IN THE HEAVENS. Individually, you may rise to sublimity (Ma'raaj) or sleep with them, whatever but I (ALLAH) remain RAHMAN IR RAHEEM; as Mankind cannot annoy HIM .......as HE knew all what Beni Adam will DO; performing as programmed in his creation. This changes the Mullah given perception of a 'Ghazub-Nak' Allah from whom they have been scaring the impoverished, ignorant and suppressed Ummah, as the other tool of Malukiyyat.
Similarly, "Malik e Yom Iddin" should have been perceived as the Proprietor of the Beginning and the End of the time Beni Adam will take to EVOLVE and ESTABLISH their Way of Life.
I believe the above is the perception; Ummah should have in our Times. I would like, personally, to be enlightened with your comments. Looking forward to it.
